AI Tutor testing terms

AI Tutor is currently an independent, restricted learning software pilot, not an official DepEd product or a substitute for a qualified teacher.

Adult guardian responsibility

Only adults who are at least 18 and are the parent or authorized guardian may register and manage learner profiles. Children must not create accounts independently.

Testing limitations

The public tutor demonstration is scripted. Curriculum review, AI-generated tutoring, voice interactions and other child-facing services are not yet enabled. Use sample or fictional student information while testing.

Account security

Guardian access uses one-time email verification codes. Keep email access secure and never share verification codes. Sessions may be ended when staging credentials or security settings change.

Review before public release

These pilot terms should be reviewed and replaced with the approved operational/legal policy before opening AI Tutor to families.
